Devin Sidell, a Los Angeles native, earned a cum laude degree from Princeton University and subsequently returned to her hometown to pursue a career in film and television.
Her early television appearances included a recurring role as Abigail Stevens on "The O.C." and a stint as Teen Lois on "Malcolm in the Middle".
Sidell's stage work has been recognized with several awards and nominations, including an L.A. Weekly Award for her performance in "Land of the Tigers" at Sacred Fools Theatre, as well as nominations for LADCC and Ovation Awards for the musical "The Behavior of Broadus", which was co-produced by Center Theatre Group.
She has also appeared in shows at the Kirk Douglas Theatre and on The Broad Stage, sharing the stage with notable actors such as Josh Gad and Bryce Dallas Howard.
In addition to her television and stage work, Sidell has made appearances on popular shows like "Ray Donovan", opposite Liev Schreiber, as well as "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", "NCIS", Lena Waithe's "Twenties", and B.J. Novak's "The Premise".
Sidell has also appeared in Rob Zombie's horror film "31", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and has recurred as a sketch performer on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".
In 2017, Sidell underwent a preventative double mastectomy and hysterectomy/oophorectomy due to her carrier status for the BRCA1 gene mutation and her family history of ovarian and breast cancers, earning her the label of "previvor".
She is currently in post-production on the dark comedy feature film "Love, Danielle", which tells the story of her experience.
