Devyn Nekoda is a talented Canadian actress who has recently gained international recognition as a core cast member in the highly anticipated horror film Scream VI, where she plays the role of Anika alongside notable actors such as Courtney Cox, Hayden Panettiere, Jenna Ortega, and Samara Weaving.
In addition to her work in Scream VI, Devyn has also appeared in various other successful films and television series. She has a recurring role on the popular Netflix series Ginny & Georgia, as well as the leading role of Sage on the groundbreaking sci-fi hip-hop series Utopia Falls, which premiered on Hulu. Furthermore, she has had guest roles on the Netflix series Grand Army and starred as the supporting lead in the Disney+ film Sneakerella.
Before transitioning to acting, Devyn had a successful dance career at a young age, winning titles at numerous events across North America and touring with Splash'N Boots. She also had the opportunity to perform with Edyta Sliwinska, a professional dancer from Dancing with the Stars. This experience not only honed her dance skills but also instilled in her the discipline and determination necessary to succeed in the entertainment industry.
As a result of her hard work and dedication, Devyn landed her first on-camera audition, which led to her securing a leading role in American Girl: Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight, followed by her feature film debut in Disney's The Swap.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Devyn has also lent her talents to Mishka, a short film project that has supported various charitable organizations, including Little Warriors, An Ark of Hope for Children, The Unchained Project, and Kids Help Phone.
