As a pioneer in her field, she founded her own event videography company, Taymaynari Productions, in 2017, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft.
Prior to establishing her own company, Dia's academic background included a brief stint at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA),where she studied filmmaking, as well as a certificate III in digital media from The Gordon Institute of TAFE.
Her formal education continued at the SAE Institute, where she earned a bachelor's degree in film production, laying the foundation for her future success.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dia has worked on numerous projects, showcasing her versatility and range as a filmmaker. Her directorial debut, 'Marital Problems', was a feature film she completed at the age of twenty, which won the prestigious best original comedy award at the 2017 Melbourne Underground Film Festival.
Her films have received widespread recognition and accolades, including a special mention for 'Soy' at the One Reeler Film Competition in 2016, and official selections for 'Dark Night of the Zomboogies' at the Warrandyte Film Feast 2017, 'I Have Gustave' at the Cardiff International Film Festival 2017, and 'Blue' at the 2018 Cefalu Film Festival.
Dia's film 'I Have Gustave' also achieved semi-finalist status at the Indie Best Films Festival in 2018, further cementing her reputation as a talented and accomplished filmmaker.
