Upon the successful completion of his Bachelor's program, Dimitri furthered his studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he continued to nurture his acting and music talents in the Master's program, thereby expanding his skill set and broadening his artistic horizons.
Dimitri's journey in the world of acting commenced with a starring role in the captivating play "Foxfire" penned by the esteemed Hume Cronin, where he brought to life the character of Dillard Nations, a country music sensation. Throughout the decade spanning from 1990 to 1996, Dimitri continued to refine his acting abilities on both stage and screen, undertaking a variety of projects in Florida, guided by the expert mentorship of illustrious instructors Ken Stilson and George Judy.
Some of the notable projects that Dimitri was involved in during this period include the award-winning short films "Third on a Match", "Used Cars", and "Goiter Boy", which garnered widespread recognition and acclaim.
As Dimitri Diatchenko stood poised to collect his Master's degree from Florida State University in the spring of 1996, he cleverly secured a modest yet pivotal role as a Navy Seal in Ridley Scott's highly anticipated film "G.I. Jane," which boasted the talented Demi Moore in the leading role.
Following this auspicious breakthrough, Diatchenko made the decisive move to relocate to the vibrant city of Los Angeles, thereby marking the official commencement of his professional acting career, a milestone that would serve as a catalyst for his future success in the entertainment industry.
