Biography

Dominic Flores, a multifaceted film and television actor, hails from Dana Point, California, where he was born and raised in the picturesque beach cities of Southern California. His mother, a dedicated school teacher, and his father, a renowned Latin trumpet player from Bolivia, South America, instilled in him a rich cultural heritage.

As a child, Dominic toured and performed with his father, blending Latin and hip-hop music in a unique fusion. However, in 1996, he decided to pursue a career in acting, enrolling at the prestigious South Coast Repertory theater in Costa Mesa. After being cast in several productions, including main stage and second stage shows, he made the move to Los Angeles.

Dominic's acting career took off with his first audition, landing a role in the film "Starmaps," the debut feature from Miguel Arteta. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997 and was subsequently purchased and theatrically released by Fox Searchlight.

Dominic's subsequent years saw him take on small but significant roles in hit network TV shows like "House," "Sons of Anarchy," "My Name is Earl," and "New Girl," as well as appearances in films such as "Peep World," "My Name is Khan," and "Rampart" alongside Woody Harrelson, directed by Oren Moverman.

In 2014, Dominic landed his first starring role in a studio film, playing the corrupt politician Hugo Barco opposite Sandra Bullock in "Our Brand is Crisis." Produced by George Clooney and his Smokehouse productions, and released by Warner Brothers in 2015, the film tells the true story of American politicians hired to elect an undesired candidate in Bolivia and the consequences of their actions.

David Gordon Green directs, with Billy Bob Thornton, Zoe Kazan, and Anthony Mackie co-starring. Dominic is married to producer Kristen Ridgway Flores, and they have three children together.

In 2014, Dominic and Kristen produced the documentary "My Uncle is the Green River Killer" for the A&E/LMN network. Additionally, they founded the Feel Good Film Festival, a three-day non-profit festival in Hollywood showcasing films that leave audiences feeling uplifted. The festival debuted at the Egyptian theater in 2008 and ran until 2012.

With his multifaceted career spanning over two decades, Dominic Flores has established himself as a talented and versatile actor, producer, and entrepreneur, making a lasting impact in the entertainment industry.
