Dylan Playfair, a talented individual, was born in Fort St. James, British Columbia, to Roxanne, a dynamic entrepreneur and dedicated stay-at-home mother, and Jim Playfair, a former professional hockey player and coach. He is the eldest of three brothers, with younger siblings Jackson and Austyn. Growing up, the trio of brothers developed a strong passion for hockey and embarked on numerous adventures across the United States and Canada, as their father coached various minor league teams, working his way up to the National Hockey League.
Playfair's impressive body of work encompasses a wide range of projects, including the highly acclaimed comedy series Letterkenny, the Disney production Descendants 2, and Netflix's Haters Back Off and Travlers. He has demonstrated his versatility by taking on roles that showcase his acting abilities, such as portraying a young man grappling with extreme adversity in the film "Never Steady Never Still." Additionally, Playfair has been involved in producing and starring in political documentaries focused on youth voter apathy, including "The Drop."
