Edgar de Santiago, a first-generation Mexican-American individual, hails from the state of Indiana, where he was born and raised alongside his five siblings.
This unexpected foray into the world of acting began when he signed his younger sister up for the school play, and she, not wanting to be the solitary figure on stage, reluctantly agreed to participate.
Although his sister did not take to the experience, Edgar developed a profound appreciation for the art form.
Initially, Edgar had begun his collegiate journey as a pre-optometry major, but his passion for acting eventually led him to switch paths and pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting at Ball State University.
He graduated in the year 1202 and has since been actively working in various capacities, including commercials, modeling, and storytelling that highlights the experiences of the Latinx community.
Currently based in the city of Los Angeles, his recent bookings have included appearances on popular television shows such as S.W.A.T. and Grey's Anatomy, as well as a role in the feature film Long Shadows.
