Edwin Sherin, a renowned American television producer and director, was born on January 15, 1930, in the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA. His illustrious career spanned numerous notable productions, including the iconic crime dramas Law & Order (1990),Homicide: Life on the Street (1993),and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999). Throughout his life, Sherin was married twice, first to the esteemed actress Jane Alexander, and subsequently to Pamela Nichol Vevers.
