In the year 2013, Velden initiated a significant shift in her professional trajectory, marking her entry into the world of acting with a debut appearance in the Mexican television series, Gossip Girl: Acapulco.
Initially, she was entrusted with the role of "Jenny Parra", and even participated in the creation of a promotional trailer for the show. However, following a recasting decision, Velden went on to assume a recurring role as "Gaby".
The show was filmed on location in Acapulco, Mexico, from January to May 2013, and premiered exclusively on the subscription channel, Golden Premier, in Mexico on August 5, 2013.
Unfortunately, despite its initial promise, the show was ultimately canceled after just one season.
After wrapping up her stint on Gossip Girl: Acapulco, Velden ventured into the realm of MTV Latin America's teen-oriented telenovela, Niñas Mal 2, where she made a memorable appearance. Additionally, she lent her talents to several episodes of the critically acclaimed Mexican television drama series, Como dice el dicho, during the spring and summer of 2014. In May of the same year, Velden took the bold step of auditioning for the role of the younger sister of the main character in renowned producer Pedro Damián's latest telenovela, Muchacha italiana viene a casarse, held in Mexico City. This ambitious project is actually a reimagining of the 1971 Mexican telenovela of the same name, which has captivated audiences for decades.
In the summer of 2014, a significant announcement was made public, revealing Velden as one of the talented actors being considered for a pivotal role in a highly anticipated telenovela.
As the months progressed, Velden's involvement in the production became increasingly confirmed, with her official casting being announced in August of that year. This marked a major milestone in her career, as she was set to make her debut in a telenovela, a genre that has captivated audiences worldwide.
Preparations for the project were well underway, with filming commencing on August 25, 2014. Velden and several members of the cast traveled to the picturesque town of Maratea, Italy, where they spent two weeks capturing scenes and promotional material for the telenovela.
After returning to Mexico City, filming resumed, with Velden immersing herself in the world of her character. To better understand her role, she took the initiative to learn Italian, a language that would play a crucial part in her character's storyline.
