Elyse Levesque, born Elyse Marie Levesque in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, embarked on her acting journey at the tender age of 11, when she joined the esteemed repertory company for the renowned children's television series, Incredible Story Studio, in 1997.
This initial foray into the world of acting was swiftly followed by commercial work in both television and radio, as well as a pivotal role as the diabolical "Dr. Maxine Rich" in the futuristic YTV series, 2030 CE, in 2002.
After completing her high school education, Levesque pursued a career in modeling, traveling the world and honing her craft, before eventually returning to her hometown to study fine arts.
Her artistic inclinations ultimately led her to relocate to Vancouver, British Columbia, where she dedicated herself to furthering her acting career, landing roles in a variety of television and film projects for both Canadian and American markets.
In 2008, Levesque secured the coveted role of "Chloe Armstrong" in the sci-fi television series, Stargate Universe, the third installment of the highly successful MGM Stargate franchise, which premiered in 2009.
Throughout her illustrious career, Levesque has been recognized for her outstanding performances, including a nomination for the UBCP/ACTRA Award for best performance in the hit BBC America series Orphan Black.
More recently, Levesque has appeared in a range of notable projects, including Fox Searchlight's Ready or Not, opposite Andie MacDowell and Adam Brody, The Big Ugly opposite Ron Perlman and Malcolm McDowell, as well as a recurring guest star on the popular Canadian series Private Eyes, opposite Jason Priestley.
