Biography

Born in the southernmost region of France, where the warmth of the Mediterranean sun meets the rolling hills of the countryside, to a mother of Spanish descent and a father hailing from the Great White North of Canada.

As a tiny tot of just three years old, her family made the bold decision to uproot and relocate to the vibrant city of Vancouver, nestled between the majestic mountains and the tranquil waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Fast forward to the ripe old age of eighteen, when she earned a prestigious swimming scholarship to the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),where she went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History.

But her academic pursuits didn't stop there! She was accepted into UCLA's renowned Graduate School of Film and Television, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in directing and film production.

Throughout her illustrious career, she has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including the coveted Motion Picture Association of America Award and the esteemed Mary Pickford Award for Excellence in documentary filmmaking.

Her thesis film, the captivating and critically acclaimed "La Petite Morte", went on to win not one, not two, but three prestigious film festival awards, solidifying her reputation as a talented and innovative filmmaker.
