Eric S. Nylund is a renowned American novelist and accomplished professional technical writer, whose remarkable literary career has been complemented by his expertise in the field of science. His wife, Syne Mitchell, is also a talented science fiction writer, sharing in his passion for creative storytelling. Eric's educational background is marked by a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the prestigious University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Master of Science degree in chemical physics from the esteemed University of California, San Diego. Currently residing in the picturesque town of North Bend, Washington, Eric has had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including his time at Microsoft, where he was hired in the 1990s to assist in rewriting and editing the scientific content of their multi-media encyclopedia.
