Erik Griffin, a multifaceted individual, began his journey in stand-up comedy in 2003. Prior to this, he honed his skills by coaching basketball and handling office tasks at a school.
From 2011 to 2017, Griffin took on the role of Montez Walker on Comedy Central's popular television series Workaholics. During this time, he also recorded a half-hour special for Comedy Central on February 28, 2013.
Later that year, Griffin released his first stand-up album, Technical Foul: Volume One, on March 12, 2013. His talent and dedication continued to flourish as he landed the role of Ralph Carnegie in the television series I'm Dying Up Here in 2015.
In 2017, Griffin's stand-up special Erik Griffin: The Ugly Truth premiered on Showtime on July 7. He continued to push boundaries with his comedy, releasing his next special Amerikan Warrior on Showtime in June 2018.
In addition to his stand-up career, Griffin has become a regular guest-host on the popular podcast "King and the Sting" since 2022, which was later renamed "The Golden Hour" on November 4, 2022, with Griffin replacing Theo Von.
