Nils Erik Åkerblom, later known as Erik Johansson, was born on February 23, 1979, in the Stockholm suburb of Enskede. His father, George Johansson, is a Swedish author, having written notable books such as "Freddy Fixer Builds a Car" and "Chessman".
Erik Johansson's early training in the performing arts took place at the prestigious Malmö Theatre Academy from 2001 to 2005. During this period, he refined his craft and prepared himself for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
In his personal life, Erik is married to costume assistant and makeup artist My Ek. He also has a son, Axel Åkerblom, from a previous relationship.
Erik Johansson's acting career began in 1994 when he landed his first role as Benny in the TV series Bert. He then joined the cast of Eva & Adam in 1999, playing the role of Torbjörn "Tobbe" Strömdahl, Eva's elder brother, until the series concluded in 2000.
