Erik Valdez, the son of a 2nd generation cotton farmer turned salesman, and an artistic, free-spirited mother, was born in Lubbock, Texas. From a young age, he was driven by two passions: racing cars and entertaining people. He learned to drive on his grandparents' farm at the tender age of six and made his acting debut in a play at just seven years old.
Growing up in El Paso, Texas, Erik spent most of his childhood, but despite his urban surroundings, he retains a strong connection to his country roots. He credits his grandparents' and parents' humble upbringings for his genuine appreciation of life and the opportunities that come his way.
Throughout his formative years, Erik honed his theatrical skills, performing in numerous productions. Eventually, he decided to pursue a career in television and film, making the bold move to Los Angeles in the summer of 2004.
When not busy with his professional endeavors, Erik can be found indulging in his favorite hobbies, which include working on and racing cars, traveling, and volunteering with various charities and organizations. He is particularly passionate about The Young Storytellers Foundation, Best Buddies, and St. Jude. Additionally, he values spending quality time with his loved ones and friends.
