Biography

Farah Naaz Hashmi is a renowned Indian Bollywood actress who made her mark in the industry during the mid-1980s and 1990s. Her journey in Bollywood began with the Yash Raj Banner film Faasle in 1985, where she starred alongside the late Sunil Dutt and Rekha.

Naaz's subsequent roles showcased her versatility as an actress, with appearances in the Bengali film Amar Tumi in 1989, opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee and directed by the legendary Bimal Roy. The same year, she starred in Naseeb Apna Apna, a remake of the Tamil film Gopurangal Saayvathillai, opposite the late Rishi Kapoor, which became a landmark film in her career.

In 1987, Naaz appeared in Imaandaar, directed by Sushil Malik and starring the late Sunil Dutt. The following year, she starred in two films: Woh Phir Aayegi, a horror film directed by B.R. Ishara, and Yateem, a romantic drama directed by J.P. Dutta.

Naaz's filmography also includes notable roles in Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990),Begunaah (1991),and Sautela Bhai (1996). She continued to work in the industry, appearing in multiple TV serials, including Amar Prem and Andaz.

In addition to her film work, Naaz has also made appearances in television shows, including the role of Neha in Deepak Anand's Bhai No 1 in 2000. Her subsequent roles include Bharat Bhagya Vidhata in 2002, Hulchul in 2004, and Shikhar in 2005.
