Franck Balson, the illustrious director at Blur Studio, embarked on his professional journey as a graphic designer at the esteemed Paris-based Cube Creative, where he rapidly ascended the ranks to assume the roles of 3D supervisor and director within a span of merely three years.
Upon joining Blur in 2007, Franck assumed the position of layout artist, contributing to the creation of captivating video game cinematics for renowned titles such as Tomb Raider, Warhammer, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and FarCry.
As a multifaceted design and editorial specialist, Franck played a pivotal role in the conception of the opening title sequence for the critically acclaimed film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, directed by the visionary David Fincher.
In his current capacity at Blur, Franck serves as both Layout/Editorial Supervisor and director, having recently completed an impressive 58 minutes of game cinematics for the Halo 2: Anniversary edition, directed a full-CG spot for the iconic MINI brand, and created the captivating opening title sequence for the Fox/Marvel feature Deadpool, directed by Blur's esteemed owner, Tim Miller.
Franck's academic background is marked by his graduation from the prestigious Supinfocom in France.
