François embarked on his illustrious career as a dancer, initially training at the prestigious Mudra, the renowned Maurice Béjart School of Performing Arts, where he honed his craft under the guidance of master instructors. Following his rigorous training, he joined the iconic Lindsay Kemp Company, rapidly rising through the ranks to become one of its principal members, a position he still maintains to this day. Throughout his illustrious career, François has had the privilege of collaborating with an array of diverse companies, including the esteemed Ballet Rambert, the innovative Rose English, the visionary Simon Vincenzi, the groundbreaking DV8 Physical Theatre, the immersive Punchdrunk, and many more. In addition to his work in dance, François has also had the opportunity to showcase his vocal talents with the medieval polyphony ensemble Graindelavoix, the electro-acoustic group Coil, and the avant-garde collective Laniakea. For Gecko, François has not only performed in but also contributed to the creation of several notable productions, including The Overcoat, Missing, and Institute.
