Her academic pursuits have taken her to the esteemed University of Bahia Federal (UFBA) in Brazil, where she earned a master's degree in literature and horror film, and later to Cuba's International Film and TV School (EICTV),where she honed her skills in screenwriting.
Throughout her career, Gabriela has demonstrated a remarkable talent for direction, having helmed numerous award-winning short films that have garnered widespread recognition and acclaim. In addition to her impressive short-form work, she has also released two feature-length fictional films, showcasing her versatility and range as a storyteller.
