Person Biography:
Gabrielle Elyse, a talented actress, has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her natural charm, beauty, and passion for her craft. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she discovered her passion for acting at the tender age of 10. With her parents' support, she began taking acting classes and auditioning for local casting jobs. By 15, she had started booking notable roles and made the move to Los Angeles with her mom.
Gabrielle's early career saw her working for Disney, appearing on top shows such as "Liv and Maddie" and "Austin & Ally." She then landed her first series regular role as Josie on Nickelodeon's "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn" in 2014. She continued to work with Nickelodeon, recurring on the network's hit series "The Thundermans" from 2014 to 2016.
Gabrielle's goal was to pursue characters and opportunities outside of the Disney and Nickelodeon world, which she achieved in 2016. She appeared on the hit TNT drama series "Rizzoli & Isles," then on "Teen Wolf" for MTV, and went on to book "The Catch" for ABC, "Dimensions 404," and "Blackish."
On the film front, Gabrielle's credits include a starring role in the silent short film "The Money Tree" and a co-starring role in the indie film "Good After Bad" opposite Billy Burke and Maddie Hasson.
When Gabrielle isn't on set, she is an avid music and comedy fan, often found shopping at record stores or enjoying comedy shows. She is currently training at UCB to hone her own comedy skills. Gabrielle prides herself on being multi-racial and is passionate about breaking African American stereotypes and bringing light to racism in the US. She currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
