Garfield Wilson, a creative force to be reckoned with, was born in Surrey,, England to Jamaican parents, and was the middle child of three siblings. When he was just six years old, his family made the bold decision to immigrate to Canada, where he would eventually find his calling in the world of entertainment.
Growing up in Edmonton, Alberta, Garfield's innate passion for all things creative led him to explore his talents in music and acting. He started performing as the lead singer of a funk/soul cover band, honing his skills and building a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
Garfield's big break came when he landed the role of Judas in the production of "Jesus Christ Superstar." This experience ignited a fire within him, and he soon found himself drawn to the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia, where he pursued his dreams of music and acting with renewed vigor.
As the lead singer of his own band, Garfield toured Canada, sharing his talents with audiences across the country. He then had the opportunity to sing backup vocals for the renowned musician Colin James, further solidifying his place in the music industry.
However, Garfield's true calling lay in acting. He began to focus on his craft, landing roles in a variety of projects, including Disney's Peter Pan & Wendy, Come To Daddy, and The Ivy & Bean movie series. His impressive range and versatility have also led to numerous television roles, such as TNT's Snowpiercer, Arrow, Bates Motel, Continuum, Netflix's Travelers, Van Helsing, The Good Doctor, The Man in the High Castle, and SyFy's Reginald The Vampire and NBC's The Irrational, among others.
Garfield's upcoming project is the feature film Final Destination: Bloodlines, set to release globally in theatres and IMAX theatres on May 16th, 2025. With his extensive experience in the entertainment industry, Garfield is undoubtedly a talented and driven individual who will continue to captivate audiences with his performances.
