As Gary's years went by, his captivating interest in the realm of horror only deepened, and he eventually became utterly enthralled with the world of terrifying cinematic masterpieces. This all-consuming fascination ultimately led him to collaborate with others in co-founding a remarkably successful regional hard rock band, Limousine, in the year 1976, which in turn further cultivated and nurtured his innate creative inclinations.
Gary's journey took a dramatic turn in the year 1984, when he unexpectedly came across the Macintosh computer, an encounter that would have a profound and lasting impact on the trajectory of his life's path.
This serendipitous discovery of the Macintosh computer marked the beginning of Gary's foray into the uncharted territory of web design, copywriting, and ultimately, the realization of his entrepreneurial dreams with the establishment of his own design and web development firm, Umbrella, in the year 2003.
Gary's artistic aspirations persisted unwaveringly, fueled by an intense longing to craft, orchestrate, and bring to life terrifying cinematic experiences within the realm of horror. This unyielding passion finally became a tangible reality in the year 2010, when he established Roaring Rat Films, his independent production company dedicated to the creation of spine-tingling horror films, situated in the unassuming city of Topeka, Kansas, a location that, at first glance, may not seem to have any inherent connection to the horror genre, yet proved to be an ideal environment for Gary's creative pursuits to flourish.
Gary's remarkable cinematic achievements are a direct result of his collaborative efforts with Klik Kreative Studios, a production partner that has provided invaluable support throughout his filmmaking journey. Together, they have assembled an impressive array of local talent, comprising talented actors, musicians, and production professionals, each bringing their unique skills and expertise to the table. This diverse and dynamic team has enabled Gary to write, direct, shoot, edit, and produce an impressive slate of five movies to date, a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft and his ability to bring his creative vision to life.
