Geoffrey Sharp is a multifaceted creative force, currently residing in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, where he has built a thriving career as a writer/director. His journey in the entertainment industry began in the bustling metropolis of New York City, where he started as an actor, landing notable roles in the National Tour of Neil Simon's critically acclaimed play, "Brighton Beach Memoirs", and the original Broadway cast of "Biloxi Blues", another Simon masterpiece. Following a decade of honing his craft as an actor, Sharp made a bold decision to return to school and pursue a degree in filmmaking, a move that would ultimately propel him towards a successful career in the film and television industry.
In the year 2000, Sharp made the bold move to Los Angeles, where he has since written, directed, or produced over fifty hours of non-fiction television for various networks, showcasing his impressive range and versatility as a storyteller. His impressive resume also includes writing pilots for esteemed networks such as ABC, Howard Stern Productions, Disney Channel, and others. One of his most notable achievements is the 2001 Showtime film, "Walter and Henry", which garnered numerous award nominations, including an Emmy and DGA award.
