George DiCenzo, a renowned American character actor, voice actor, and acting teacher, hailed from New Haven, Connecticut. With a career spanning approximately three decades, he initially served as an associate producer for the gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows" from 1966 to 1971. DiCenzo's most recognizable live-action role was his portrayal of Sam Baines, Marty McFly's maternal grandfather, in the time-travel-themed science fiction film "Back to the Future" in 1985.
