Marcella and Lester Gomez Sr. welcomed their second child, Glenn, among a family of six siblings, and his early years were spent in the vibrant Irish Channel area of New Orleans. As the family grew, they relocated to the city's suburbs, where Glenn's formative years continued to unfold.
Glenn's academic journey took him to West Jefferson High School in Harvey, a New Orleans suburb, where he earned his diploma in 1974. Following his high school graduation, Glenn continued to nurture his passion for acting, taking on various theatre roles and commercial work, as well as industrial films, in both New Orleans and Houma, Louisiana.
Glenn's professional pursuits in the entertainment industry spanned several decades, with a focus on the Houma community, where he currently resides with his wife, Stephanie. However, in 2007, Glenn's career was significantly impacted when he began experiencing difficulties in recalling memorized dialogue during a production of Neil Simon's play "Rose's Dilemma" in Houma.
A series of subsequent tests led to a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's Disease, a diagnosis that has forced Glenn to put his acting career on hold. Despite this, Glenn still directs plays occasionally in Houma, a testament to his unwavering dedication to the world of theatre.
