Born in the city of Hamilton, located in the province of Ontario, within the country of Canada.
From a young age, Gordon's fascination with the film industry began to take shape, as he made his on-screen debut at the tender age of 12 in a movie alongside renowned actors James Woods and Allan Arkin, titled "Joshua Then and Now". This marked the start of a lifelong passion for film that would only continue to grow and evolve.
Gordon's early training took place at Theatre Aquarius, where he honed his craft before embarking on a long and successful career in film and television throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
In the 2000s, Gordon gained widespread recognition for his role as the irascible engineer on Gene Roddenberry's sci-fi series "Andromeda", which aired from 2000 to 2005. During this period, he also won a prestigious Gemini Award for "Canada's Hottest Star" in 2002, solidifying his status as a talented and in-demand actor.
Feeling that he had reached the pinnacle of his acting career, Gordon decided to shift his focus to the other side of the camera, taking on writing and directing roles. He wrote three episodes of "Andromeda" and went on to produce, write, and direct numerous projects, including the critically acclaimed short film "Parkman", which earned special selection at the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival.
Although Gordon can still be seen in front of the camera, most recently on episodes of the popular TV series "iZombie", he is now focusing on directing and has a number of projects in various stages of development. A feature documentary is currently in post-production, set for release in 2017 or 2018.
Gordon is represented by the talent agencies LLA and KC Talent, based out of British Columbia, Canada.
