Born in Western Montana, Graham Hamilton's journey began, shaped by his upbringing in the Pacific Northwest. His academic pursuits led him to the prestigious Juilliard School, where he honed his craft, preparing him for a versatile career that would take him to stages in New York, London, and regional theatres across the United States.
As a talented performer, Hamilton's repertoire spans a wide range of genres, from American contemporary to French farce, Shakespearean classics, and avant-garde productions. His exceptional work earned him a Boomerang Grant for Excellence in the Performing Arts, and he would later take home the coveted Helen Hayes Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in Hamlet at the renowned Folger Shakespeare Library. The production itself received the prestigious award for Best Play.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Hamilton not only acted in but also produced the west coast premiere of Philip Ridley's Tender Napalm at SIX01 Studio in the DTLA arts district. The sold-out production received widespread acclaim, garnering nominations from the Ovation and Drama Critics Circle awards, and ultimately winning four LA Weekly awards, including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Fight Choreography.
