Grant Rosenmeyer was born on July 3rd, 1991, in the affluent and picturesque town of Manhasset, located on the North Shore of Long Island, New York. From a tender age of 7, he embarked on his acting journey, initially performing regionally, and subsequently, at the tender age of 8, he entered the professional realm, making his Broadway debut in a short-lived production of the classic Shakespearean tragedy, "Macbeth", opposite the renowned actor Kelsey Grammer, and in the iconic musical, "Les Miserables", where he took on the memorable role of the spirited and mischievous "Gavroche", the street urchin with a penchant for getting into trouble.
As his acting career progressed, he was cast in the critically acclaimed film, "The Royal Tenenbaums" (2001),directed by the acclaimed Wes Anderson, alongside a stellar cast, including the legendary Gene Hackman and Ben Stiller. This film, which has since become a modern classic, marked his film debut and introduced him to a wider audience. Following this, he appeared in the cult classic, "The Hebrew Hammer" (2003),a film often referred to as a "Jewxploitation" film, opposite Adam Goldberg and Andy Dick.
Rosenmeyer's subsequent projects included the title role in Fox's sitcom, "Oliver Beene" (2003),which brought him significant exposure and recognition. Throughout his career, he has made numerous notable guest appearances on popular television shows, such as "Monk" (2002),where he played the role of "Young Monk", and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (2000),in the episode "The Smoking Jacket" (2005),as "Wilson".
