Gregory Lamberson is a seasoned independent filmmaker with a storied 40-year career. He wears multiple hats, serving as a screenwriter, producer, and director, while also being a member of the esteemed Producers Guild of America.
Throughout his illustrious career, Lamberson has demonstrated his versatility by creating his own feature films and freelancing as a screenwriter, ghostwriter, and line producer. His cult classic films, such as Slime City, Killer Rack, and Johnny Gruesome, have garnered a devoted following.
As a member of International Thriller Writers, Lamberson has also made a name for himself as a prolific author, having penned 15 books, including 12 critically acclaimed novels. His work primarily falls within the horror, action, and comedy genres.
Lamberson's impressive accolades include the NCCC Film and Animation Festival's Filmmaker of the Year award in 2017 and the Shawna Shea Film Festival's William C. Gerrity Award in 2019.
Beyond his creative endeavors, Lamberson is the founder and Executive Director of the nonprofit charitable organization Cinema Arts Collaborative, Inc., and teaches screenwriting at the University at Buffalo.
He is also the mastermind behind Amazing Fantasy Fest, previously known as Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival.
