Gulliver McGrath is a renowned Australian actor who has been fascinated with the craft since he was just six years old. His journey began when he was spotted by casting director Fiona Dann at his school in Brunswick, and he subsequently landed an advertisement for Cravendale milk, a British-based company, which was shot in Melbourne.
However, life took a turn for the busy as his parents, Heidi and Craig, finished their studies in medicine, and his younger brother Winta was born. Moreover, his second brother, Zen, had to be nursed back to health after breaking his leg. After a few years of taking a break from acting, Gully's persistence paid off when he convinced his mother to find him an agent.
The agent, Emma Raciti, landed him a role in Melbourne Theatre Company's production of "Poor Boy" alongside Guy Pearce and Abi Tucker in 2009. This marked the beginning of his rise to fame, and he soon found himself working on several projects, including Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" as "Young Tabard".
Gulliver's subsequent roles include David Collins in Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" and Tad Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln". In recent years, he has been busy filming "The Voices" alongside Ryan Reynolds, which is set to be released next year. Interestingly, his younger brothers, Zen and Winta, are also set to make their film debut with the upcoming movie "Aloft".
