Hakan Günday, a renowned Turkish writer, was born on the picturesque Greek island of Rhodes in the year 1976. His childhood was marked by a nomadic existence, as he relocated to Brussels at a young age, where he spent his formative years before eventually settling in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, where he completed his high school education.

Günday's academic pursuits took him to multiple esteemed institutions, including Hacettepe University, Université Libre de Bruxelles, and Ankara University, where he further honed his intellectual and creative abilities.

The literary world was introduced to Günday's writing talent with the publication of his debut novel, Kinyas ve Kayra, in the year 2000. Since then, he has gone on to produce a remarkable body of work, garnering widespread recognition and acclaim.
