Hasraf 'HaZ' Dulull embarked on a remarkable journey in the entertainment industry, initially establishing himself as a skilled professional in the realm of Visual Effects for Film and Television. As his career progressed, he transitioned seamlessly into the realm of directing and producing, with his breakout sci-fi indie feature film, The Beyond, being released by Gravitas Ventures and premiering at an impressive number two on the iTunes charts, subsequently trending on Netflix.
His subsequent feature film, 2036: Origin Unknown, which boasted an impressive cast featuring Katee Sackhoff, earned a limited theatrical release in the United States before making its way to the popular streaming platform, Netflix. Dulull's innovative approach to storytelling and direction did not go unnoticed, as he was later entrusted with the responsibility of directing the pilot episode for Disney's action-comedy mini-series, Fast Layne, and was also credited as creative consultant for the entire series, impressing Disney channel executives with his unique vision, resulting in him being tasked with directing three additional episodes.
In addition to his work on Fast Layne, Dulull has also made notable contributions to other projects, including directing the short bridge film, Descendants - Under the Sea, for Disney, and directing a segment in the sci-fi horror anthology, Portals, released by Screen Media. Furthermore, in 2020, Dulull was recognized by Epic Games as a pioneer in the utilization of the latest Unreal Engine and Virtual Production technologies in his animated feature films, which are currently in production.
