Hassan Said, a multi-lingual and award-winning Director, Producer, and Writer, has over a decade of experience in the film industry, having worked on a diverse range of projects including motion pictures, commercials, music videos, documentary content, and web series.

Born in Egypt, Hassan has a unique perspective that is reflected in his work, which has been created in English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

After graduating from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Hassan began his career as a videographer and editor at the renowned agency Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, working with clients such as Yahoo, NBA, Sprint, Cheetos, Dickies, HP, Adobe, and Haagen Dazs.

Hassan's passion for storytelling led him to Angola, where he was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture to produce and mentor a Portuguese-speaking film, Alambamento, which went on to win multiple awards and gain distribution in over 40 countries, as well as platforms such as Amazon and iTunes.

With his work having been screened in over 50 festivals in over 40 countries, Hassan has received critical acclaim from independent critics and international magazine outlets globally. He has also worked on multiple projects in Los Angeles, including commercials, television, and narrative films for prominent clients such as Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, MJZ, Biscuit Filmworks, Focus Features, and NBC.

Hassan's poetic use of striking characters and imagery explores the psychological impact of both life's shocking and heartwarming moments, and his work often delves into themes of self-awareness and vivid realities.

In 2019, Hassan embarked on an ambitious project, directing, producing, and writing the upcoming feature film THIS IS YOUR SONG, a 97-minute one-take shot set in San Francisco, which will be the longest-running shot in US film cinema.

When he's not working, Hassan can be found hammering away at his typewriter, working on his five feature films in development, or exploring the streets of Los Angeles or San Francisco, capturing the world through his lens with his old Hasselblad camera.

Hassan holds dual American and Egyptian citizenship.
