Following her successful academic tenure, Heidi relocated to Los Angeles in 1999, marking the beginning of her illustrious career in the entertainment industry. She has since worked consistently in film, television, and theatre, showcasing her versatility and talent to audiences nationwide.
In 2015, Heidi's outstanding performance in the play "One in the Chamber," penned by the acclaimed playwright Marja Lewis-Ryan, garnered her the prestigious DRAMA CRITICS CIRCLE AWARD for Lead Performance. Additionally, Ryan's work was recognized with the award for Best New Play, solidifying the play's impact and Heidi's remarkable portrayal.
