Helena Mattsson was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, where she spent her formative years alongside her two sisters, surrounded by the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of her native country.
As a young teenager, Helena's life took a dramatic turn when she was discovered by one of Sweden's largest and most prestigious modeling agencies, marking the beginning of her journey in the world of fashion and entertainment.
After completing her education at Stockholm's esteemed Performing Arts High School, Helena set her sights on further developing her craft by traveling to London and New York to study acting.
Her big break came at the tender age of 19 when she made the bold decision to leave London behind and relocate to Los Angeles, where she was subsequently cast as the lead in the Warner Bros. comedy "Sweden, Ohio" (2004),a role that would launch her career in Hollywood.
Since then, Helena has continued to make a name for herself in the industry, with recurring roles on the hit ABC series "Desperate Housewives" (2004) and the CW's "Nikita" (2010),as well as a starring role as Alexis Blume in the ABC drama "666 Park Avenue" (2012).
In addition to her impressive television credits, Helena has also appeared in a range of feature films, including "Seven Psychopaths" (2012) alongside Colin Farrell, "Guns, Girls and Gambling" (2012) with Gary Oldman, "Surrogates" (2009) with Bruce Willis, and "Iron Man 2" (2010) with Robert Downey Jr..
