Hunter Wenzel resides with his parents in Perdido Key, Florida, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and the numerous bays and bayous that characterize the western tip of the state. He leads a life that his parents had envisioned for him and his older brothers, filled with outdoor activities such as fishing, surfing, swimming, sailing, crabbing, and generally avoiding the confines of their home.
As a member of the Pensacola Navy Youth swim team, Hunter trains and competes with dedication, and he is also actively involved in Scouting. Due to the 10-year age gap between him and his brothers, he has had the benefit of more mature role models and has consistently excelled in language development and social skills. His desire to keep up with his older brothers, with whom he would often tag along, has instilled in him a lack of timidity. To surf alongside his brothers, he had to learn how to paddle out, which further emphasized his determination and bravery.
It is safe to say that Hunter completely lacks the gene for shyness, having been encouraged to be bold and fearless from a young age. His first principal role was as Tate in the horror-thriller "Before I Wake," which was filmed in Fairhope and Mobile, Alabama, during November and December 2013. The film is scheduled for release in theaters in 2015. Additionally, Hunter made his television debut as Jeremy in the series "South of Hell."
