Ieva Andrejevaite, a talented Lithuanian actress, was born on November 21st in Russia, but spent her formative years in Vilnius, Lithuania. Currently based in London, UK, she has made a name for herself in both her home country and Russia, showcasing her impressive range in film and television.
Ieva's academic background is rooted in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she earned her degree in 2011. Between 2009 and 2011, she honed her craft at the Russian Drama Theatre of Lithuania, taking on a lead role in the contemporary dance play Little Red Riding Hood, based on Märta Tikkanen's book.
Her television credits include the Lithuanian series Road of Wine and Road of Courage, directed by Raimundas Banionis, as well as Russian productions such as Cold Dish, Crossroads of Destiny, Farsta, and Under Correction, in which she plays the female lead Viola. Under Correction, directed by Oleg Fomin, is set to premiere in 2017.
Ieva's international projects include the TV-series Mission Bayern and Mythos Silberpfeile, both directed by Saskia Weisheit, as well as the feature films Kill your friends, directed by Owen Harris, and Winter Thaw, a US-LT co-production. Her upcoming feature film, Ashes in the snow, a US-LT co-production directed by Marius Markevicius, is slated for release in 2017.
Recent credits include a supporting role in the Russian feature Good Boy, which won the Grand Prix at the prestigious Kinotavr Russian Film Festival, as well as a lead role in the Lithuanian feature film Emilia, directed by Donatas Ulvydas, set to be released in February 2017.
