Jacinta Patrice Stapleton is a renowned Australian actress born in Melbourne, Victoria. She joined an actors' agency at the tender age of six and made her screen debut at the age of eight, appearing in the film "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". This marked the beginning of a prolific career in children's television, with notable roles in shows such as "The Flying Doctors" and "Genie From Down Under", all while completing her schooling at the Catholic Girls College, Star of the Sea.
As she grew older, Jacinta sought to expand her performance skills, completing the last two years of high school at Sandringham Secondary College, which focused predominantly on the arts. Upon finishing school, she was asked to appear in the highly successful television soap "Neighbours" for five weeks, a role that quickly expanded and saw her spend three years on the show playing the complex and controversial character, Amy.

She then appeared in many guest roles, before taking on recurring characters in "All Saints" and "Out Of The Blue". In 2013, her credits included playing an American record producer in the highly anticipated INXS mini-series, and her role as the controversial Mercedes Corby in the tele-movie "Schapelle", both set to air in Australia in February 2014. Additionally, Jacinta is a skilled voice artist, with numerous animated credits to her name, including "The Davincibles" and "Santa's Apprentice".
