Jacob's remarkable journey began in Boston, where he was born, before relocating to Pittsburgh at a young age. It was in Pittsburgh that he discovered his passion for the performing arts, auditioning and booking his first play at the tender age of eleven.
Following his early start, Jacob continued his arts education at the prestigious performing arts middle school, followed by the esteemed Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts high school. His dedication and talent earned him a spot at the renowned Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City, where he was accepted at the impressive age of seventeen.
Jacob's remarkable achievements did not go unnoticed, as he was accepted into the Public Theater in NYC's Shakespeare Lab, becoming the youngest person ever to receive this honor. He continued to excel, becoming the youngest person ever accepted into the American Conservatory Theater's M.F.A. program.
Throughout his illustrious career, Jacob has had the privilege of performing on Broadway and Off-Broadway, as well as in theatres in Birmingham and London, England. He has worked with some of the most acclaimed playwrights in the industry, including Pulitzer Prize winners David Lindsay-Abaire, Jeanine Tesori, Beth Henley, Doug Wright, Quiara Alegría Hudes, and Suzan-Lori Parks.
One of his most notable collaborations was with Ms. Parks on her play "Father Comes Home from the Wars," which earned several awards, including the Pulitzer, Lucille Lortel, and IRNE awards. Jacob's outstanding performance as Odesseus the Dog earned him the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play.
In recent years, Jacob has turned his attention to film and television, working alongside esteemed artists such as Julie Taymor, Alec Baldwin, David Schwimmer, Andrew McCarthy, Richard Chamberlain, Zach Galifianakis, Ted Danson, Chris Noth, and Brian D'Arcy James.
Throughout his journey, Jacob has been blessed with the unwavering support of his family, friends, agents, and managers, to whom he extends his heartfelt gratitude.
