Jada Facer is a talented young actress who has recently gained recognition for her role as Dani, the feisty and rebellious daughter of Joe and Felicia, in the hit ABC Family series "Melissa and Joey". She joins the show as a series regular in season 4, moving in with Mel and Joe, and has become a fan favorite.
Facer's journey into professional acting began with an opportunity to work on a short film titled "Y: The Last Man", a horror film based on a book. Since then, she has appeared in a variety of productions, including television series such as ABC's "Mistresses" and CBS' "Bad Teacher", as well as independent and short films like "One Bad Thing", "Nina Del Tango", and "Father's Promise". Her most notable role to date is in the Hallmark original film "Love's Christmas Journey", a period piece set in the 1800s, which has become a staple on the network every year during Christmastime.
Born and raised in Utah, Facer moved to Los Angeles at the age of nine and grew up with a passion for acting and performing. She was inspired by Shirley Temple and would often play dress-up and pretend to be the iconic actress. Facer was involved in choir, musical theater, and community theater from a young age, and her favorite part of acting is the ability to make the audience identify with the character and emotions.
When she's not acting, Facer enjoys writing music and singing. She also likes to draw, cook special dinners and desserts with her parents, spend time outdoors, and spend time with her dogs.
