Jakob Davies embarked on a journey to pursue a career in acting in 2009, and his remarkable success has been a testament to his dedication and talent. He has taken on iconic roles such as "Lex Luther" in The CW's SMALLVILLE, and has recurred as "Pinocchio" in ABC's hit series ONCE UPON A TIME.
In 2013, Jakob landed a supporting lead role opposite Jessica Biel in the feature film "THE TALL MAN", and shortly after, he appeared in the independent feature THE YOUNG AND PRODIGIOUS SPIVET, working alongside esteemed actors Helena Bonham Carter and Callum Keith Rennie, under the direction of renowned filmmaker Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
The following year, Jakob had the privilege of shooting the MGM/Warner Brothers feature IF I STAY, where he played the younger brother of Chloe Grace Moretz. The film garnered a People's Choice Award nomination and won two Teen Choice Awards.
In 2015, Jakob's film THE BIRDWATCHER premiered at the Whistler Film Festival, where he was also recognized in the festival's annual "Stars to Watch" program, an initiative that honors four up-and-coming thespians on the cusp of international success and stardom.
In 2016, Jakob appeared in THE ADVENTURE CLUB, opposite Kim Coates and Billy Zane, a family-friendly film that follows a group of friends who discover a magical and mysterious box, banding together for an exciting adventure.
Jakob's upcoming project is the dystopian action thriller HUMANITY BUREAU, starring alongside Nicolas Cage.
