Jasmine Star Dustin was born on New Year's Day, 1983, in the small rural town of Auburn, New Hampshire, as if fate had predetermined her path to stardom, reflected in her middle name.
Her striking green eyes and exotic features are a testament to her diverse ancestry, which includes French, Native American, and Scottish roots. Jasmine's journey in the world of modeling began at the tender age of five, when she strutted down the runway for the first time in modeling pageants. Her dedication and perseverance earned her prestigious titles such as Miss Congeniality, Miss Best Photographed, Miss Best Smile, and Miss Top Model, as well as Junior Miss. By the time she entered her teenage years, Jasmine was convinced that modeling and acting would be her lifelong passion.
After graduating high school, she took the bold step of relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. Shortly thereafter, she graced the pages of renowned magazines such as GQ, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, and FHM, among others.
Jasmine has traveled to London, New York, and Paris in pursuit of her modeling career, landing campaigns for prominent brands like Fredericks of Hollywood, Johnny Walker, William Rast, Duwop Cosmetics, UGG, Samsung, and many more. Her television debut was as the model holding briefcase #5 on the hit show Deal or No Deal (2005). After a season, she decided to transition to acting, coached by the renowned Larry Moss of L.A.'s Larry Moss Studios, who has worked with acclaimed actresses such as Hilary Swank and Helen Hunt.
Jasmine has appeared in feature films like Rush Hour 3 (2007),City Of Jerks (2012),and Let the Game Begin (2010) opposite Michael Madsen, as well as numerous independent films that later premiered at film festivals. She has also worked on top television shows such as CSI: Miami (2002),Eleventh Hour (2008),Knight Rider (2008),and FX's "The League".
Jasmine has been a series regular for two seasons on the TV show Doheny Models (2010) and Get Out (2003),where she embarks on high-adventure sports around the world. She is currently filming her second season on BET's hit show "Being Mary Jane" opposite Gabrielle Union.
When Jasmine is not on set, she is actively involved in giving back to the homeless and their pets. In 2012, she founded her own animal charity, Cause4Paws, which focuses on shelter animals and the homeless community, as well as their pets. On a weekly basis, she distributes tents and food to the cities of Los Angeles and Van Nuys.
