Jason Arday FRSA is a British sociologist, writer, and fundraiser who has garnered significant recognition for his groundbreaking research on the complex and multifaceted topics of race and racism. In a notable milestone, he commenced his appointment as Professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Cambridge, UK, in March 2023, thereby becoming the youngest black individual to ever be appointed to a professorship at this esteemed institution. Prior to this, he held the position of Professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Glasgow in the College of Social Sciences, where he made significant contributions to the field.
