Jason Deline is a multifaceted Canadian artist with a diverse career spanning over two decades. He began his journey in high school, taking on a role in the musical theater production of Little Shop of Horrors, making him the youngest cast member. This early experience led to his debut in the Canadian teen series Ready or Not in 1997.
Jason's pursuit of radio broadcasting further honed his skills in voice-over and commercial work. He then transitioned into the world of animation, voice acting, and direction. One of his most notable roles was voicing Drago, the Dragonoid, in the Bakugan franchise, starting with Bakugan Battle Brawlers in 2007. He voiced Drago in various iterations of the series for over 15 years, retiring from the role after Bakugan: Evolutions in 2022.
In addition to his work in Bakugan, Jason voiced two main characters in the animated series Chop Chop Ninja in 2018, based on the mobile game series by Gamerizon. He brought to life Neeko, the energetic ninja, and Tetsuo, the disciplined cat warrior.
Jason's impressive resume also includes voice work in various animated series, such as Beyblade: Metal Saga from 2009 to 2013, where he played the role of Benkei, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic in 2017, where he voiced Bow Hothoof. He has also voiced hundreds of commercials for renowned brands like Dodge Ram, Subaru, Coke, Tim Hortons, and Mitsubishi.
Aside from his voice acting career, Jason has also ventured into the world of comedy. He co-founded the sketch comedy troupe Radio Vault, which performed at the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, and co-founded the Comedy Album Book Club podcast, analyzing legendary stand-up albums.
Jason is also a mentor to aspiring voice actors, offering guidance through his Find Your Voice workshops and developing Voice-over for Improvisers at The Second City Toronto. He has also appeared in films like X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014 and The Walk in 2015, as well as television series such as Arrow in 2015, Star Trek: Discovery in 2017, The Night Agent in 2023, and Dead Boy Detectives in 2024.
As a director, Jason has worked on voice directing countless commercials and the animated project Crack-Duck in 2014. He is married to actress Helena Marie, whom he wed on October 25, 2015, and they reside in Vancouver with their dog, Charlie.
