Jason Liles, born on July 4, 1987, in Memphis, Tennessee, is the youngest of three siblings. Growing up in Germantown, he shared a passion for filmmaking with his older brother, Jordan, creating short films with a handheld camera from a young age.
However, it wasn't until he turned 21 in 2008 that Jason began studying theatre in college. This marked the beginning of his journey towards becoming a professional actor.
In 2009, Jason made the bold move to New York City to pursue his acting dreams. He quickly landed numerous short films, a national Allstate commercial, and even worked alongside renowned makeup artist Rick Baker on the production of Men In Black III.
Playing multiple alien roles in the film, Jason gained valuable experience and insight from his mentor, Doug Jones. His unique height of 6'9" also became an asset, as he discovered a niche playing non-human characters in prosthetics and performance capture.
In 2015, Jason relocated to Los Angeles to be closer to the special effects makeup artists he admired. His breakthrough roles soon followed, including Ryuk the death god in Death Note, George the albino gorilla in Rampage, King Ghidorah the three-headed dragon in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Chatterer in Hellraiser, and many more.
While Jason is perhaps best known for his work under prosthetics and visual effects, he has also demonstrated his range by playing "himself" in films like Aftermath and making guest appearances on shows such as Dream Corp LLC.
Today, Jason is married to his wife Allie and resides in California.
