In 1980, Jean Darling assumed the delightful persona of Aunty Poppy, a name inspired by the State flower of her home, and began crafting and narrating an astonishing 450 children's stories for both RTE radio and television. Her captivating tales left a lasting impression on young audiences, solidifying her status as a masterful storyteller.
