In the year 2008, a significant creative milestone was achieved by Ribes, as he co-authored and helmed the direction of a cinematic endeavour titled "Batailles", in collaboration with the renowned visual artist and writer, Roland Topor.
The subsequent year, 2009, saw Ribes assume the role of director for not one, but two distinct theatrical productions. The first, "Un garçon impossible", was a play penned by the Norwegian playwright, Petter S. Rosenlund, while the second, "Les Diablogues", was a dramatic work crafted by the French writer and playwright, Roland Dubillard.
