Jeff was born and raised in Central Ohio, with a significant seven-year stint in Torrance, California, where he spent his childhood. However, he eventually returned to Ohio to complete his high school education and served two years in the U.S. Army, which undoubtedly shaped his perspective.
After his time in the military, Jeff pursued a career in computer programming, relocating to Athens, Georgia in 1979. It was during this period that he stumbled upon a local theater and fell deeply in love with acting, a passion that has remained with him for over sixty-nine productions.
Throughout his career, Jeff has had the opportunity to take on a wide range of roles, including Sweeney Todd, Captain Von Trapp, Emile DeBecque in South Pacific, Rev. Shaw Moore in Footloose, Shelley LeVene in Glengarry Glen Ross, and Daddy Warbucks in Annie.
While living in Georgia for thirty years, Jeff also had the opportunity to work as part of the doctor's staff on the popular TV series "In the Heat of the Night," which was filmed in Covington, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. Additionally, he appeared in the films "Love Potion Number 9" and "Made in Heaven," as well as a slew of industrial and safety videos, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
In 2010, Jeff made the move to Orlando, a decision that, as they say, was in good timing. He has since continued to work in the entertainment industry, appearing in over twenty-five independent and short films, as well as numerous theater productions.
In addition to his work on stage and screen, Jeff has also had the opportunity to work in radio, hosting game shows for corporate events and emceeing multiple banquets and awards ceremonies. In his spare time, he enjoys writing his second book and playing the bagpipes.
