Jeff Pomerantz attended Northwestern University and later served in the US Infantry during the Viet Nam era before pursuing his passion for acting by graduating from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He then further honed his craft by studying with renowned acting coaches Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg, who subsequently invited him to work at the Actors Studio.
Throughout his illustrious career, Pomerantz has performed on Broadway and off-Broadway alongside esteemed actors such as Jeff Daniels, Dianne Wiest, Richard Dreyfuss, and Richard Burton, to name a few. He has also made a significant impact in the world of film and television, starring in numerous productions and starring in a daytime drama while performing nightly on and off Broadway.
For over two decades, Pomerantz has dedicated his life to promoting human rights and social betterment activities, performing in thousands of venues worldwide with his unique one-man improvisational show. In 1986, he founded Hollywood Says No to Drugs, garnering support from prominent individuals including Lord Laurence Olivier and civil rights icon Rosa Parks.
Through his tireless efforts, Pomerantz has secured the support of numerous celebrities and has met with influential figures such as Presidents (Ronald Reagan),Princesses (Princess Di and Princess Christina of Denmark),Prime Ministers, and military leaders. He has also worked to raise funds for black education in South Africa during the Apartheid era, staying in every black township, and has spoken at the United Nations in Geneva.
In addition to his extensive list of credits, Pomerantz has established himself as a prolific Voice Over artist over the past 25 years.
