Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, a talented individual, has gained recognition for his portrayal of Jay, an ambitious producer, in the Peabody Award-winning and Emmy-nominated Lifetime series UNREAL, which is set to return for its third season on February 26.
On the same day, Bowyer-Chapman will be launching and hosting a podcast series, JBC PRESENTS: CONVERSATIONS WITH "OTHERS", where he will explore the concept of "otherness" and the strength and beauty that can be found in our differences and connectivity.
Bowyer-Chapman has been named one of Canada's top rising stars by the Hollywood Reporter in 2016. He has co-starred in several films and television shows, including DIRTY GRANDPA, TAO OF SURFING, LOVE BY THE 10TH DATE, and RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE.
Before making his feature film debut in SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM, which premiered at the 2006 Outfest Film Festival, Bowyer-Chapman began his career as an international model. He has also appeared in LOGO's romantic comedy-drama THE SKINNY, HBO's DEAR MR. GACY, SyFy's STARGATE UNIVERSE, and the Nickelodeon animated series IRON MAN: ARMORED ADVENTURES, where he voiced the role of Black Panther.
Bowyer-Chapman is actively involved with the Human Rights Campaign, serving as a guest speaker. In 2016, he created the Bramon Garcia Braun (BGB) scholarship in his name, which is awarded to LGTBQ actors of color who demonstrate a strong desire to express their unique talents and use their platform to change the industry's perception of humanity.
Born and raised in Canada, Bowyer-Chapman currently splits his time between New York and Los Angeles.
